Maintenance Supervisor Wade Evans managed the upgrade which included 185 new LED fixtures and bulbs to replace their aging Metal Halide, Fluorescent and Incandescent lights that preceded them. The retrofit was a big success and the facility had initially looked at only doing certain areas. Since the facility is open 24/7, occupancy sensors were added to ensure lights turn off when there are no clients inside. Sustainability features include a solar array rated at 22.8 kW and reused gym flooring for the upstairs and counter area.
